Every individual experiences their journey differently. At times, our lives can provide us with experiences and situations where we need additional resources and support to help navigate these challenges. With that, I ensure that I take a client-centered approach to establish sessions that are reflective of your individuality and your needs. Together, we can build a working alliance that provides immediate and long term goals to support your well-being.
The adolescents years can bring about many challenges. Whether it is academic, social or emotional, I provide services that value and respect the clients challenging environments. A collaborative approach builds trust and empowers both the client and I to determine resources and solutions that support them both long and short term.
Connection is powerful. It can allow people to feel grounded; build and foster trust, and it is a fundamental building block in a relationship. What is important to understand is that just as individuals grow and change, relationships do as well. As we experience transitions in our relationship, it can be helpful to come together to express needs and gain a deeper understanding of the meaning of our actions (and those of others). Couples therapy can provide an environment where each individual feels heard, validated, and supported in the relationship.
At times, long-term therapy may not be conducive to our lives. Brief therapy provides the opportunity to explore present and future challenges that you choose to target and focus on. In these sessions, we work together to determine resources (internally and externally) that can support you with the addressed obstacles.
Group therapy is a unique experience that allows you to share your experiences with others who are undergoing similar challenges. Group therapy provides a platform in which you can share what you are comfortable sharing and still take away learnings from materials, resources and the stories of others.
